The Bride.

Here is my new sister-in-law, Michelle. A gorgeous bride, as you can see. I was able to sneak her inside and snap a few photos before the ceremony started. I wish you guys the very best! Congrats!

The Groom.

Out of all the photo shoots I have been a part of, this was the most rewarding! I photographed my brother's wedding in New York City on Monday. The wedding was perfect. Hands down, perfection. I could not have asked for a better place to shoot. Here's to my brother, Josey.

Thought Police.

"There will be no loyalty, except loyalty towards the Party. There will be no love, except the love of Big Brother. There will be no laughter, except the laugh of triumph over a defeated enemy. There will be no art, no literature, no science. When we are omnipotent there will be no need of science. There will be no distinction between beauty and ugliness. There will be no curiosity, no enjoyment of the process of life. All competing pleasures will be destroyed. But always—do not forget this Winston—always there will be the intoxication of power, constantly increasing and constantly growing subtler. Always, at every moment, there will be the thrill of victory, the sensation of trampling on an enemy who is helpless. If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face—forever."

Today I was fortunate enough to help out a friend with a project about the notorious novel, 1984, by George Orwell. I love recreating scenes, and then was definitely a scene worth recreating. Thanks for checking out the images and enjoy Lexa and Stephen's mad modeling skills!

Stochastic.

To all my folks:

Yesterday was the start of daylight savings time, so get excited about the long and sunny days to come. I am thrilled about having the sun set later in the day. (Translation: More time to shoot outdoor photos!) Lately, I have been spending the majority of my time in the studio experimenting with a large spectrum of lighting techniques. I have yet to figure out all the many ways to light people and objects...

Here are two of my favorite people and my favorite models, Dave and Melody.

Allo.

So I caved, I finally got a blog. I am excited to start journaling and sharing my work with the world. As springtime approaches, I hope to share some vibrant and sparkly work. I have been working on senior portfolio projects this semester. Here is a taste, enjoy!
